If the domain is registered with us
Log in to your client area, open your domain and use its Nameservers option. Choose custom nameservers, enter the four above and save.
If the domain is registered somewhere else
- Log in to that registrar.
- Find the domain and open Nameservers or DNS settings. The wording differs between registrars.
- Choose Custom nameservers and enter the four names. Remove the old ones.
- Save.
If the registrar has a registrar lock, that only matters for transfers. You do not need to unlock a domain to change nameservers.
Check it worked
Use a DNS lookup tool, or in a terminal run nslookup -type=NS yourdomain.com. You should see the four names. Then see DNS records and how long changes take.
Add the domain to your hosting
After DNS points to us, add it as an addon domain or use it as your main domain.

My domain is registered with akthost. How do I change it?
In the client area open Domains, then My Domains, click Manage on the domain, then open the Nameservers tab. Enter the nameservers and save.
My website or email stopped after I changed it.
Nameservers decide where all your DNS records live. Make sure your records (website, mail) exist in the new place before you switch.
