A simple checklist before you launch a business website

The checklist

• The site opens with a padlock on https://. See Redirect to HTTPS.
• www and non-www both work and go to one address.
• Contact form sends a message and you receive it.
• The site looks right on a phone.
• Your business email works and does not go to spam.
• Pages have a clear title and description.
• A backup exists. See Back up your site.
• WordPress, plugins and theme are updated and unused ones deleted.
• Admin passwords are long and unique, and extra admins removed.
• Your phone, address or email are shown correctly and the privacy page exists.
